Greek Cookery was founded by Phoebus, a self-taught cook whose passion for authentic Greek food began in the family kitchen. Inspired by generations of treasured family recipes, he believes that the true secret ingredient has never been hidden—it’s simply love. Every dish is prepared with the same care, tradition, and warmth that has been passed down through his family, bringing the authentic taste of Greece to every customer.

Phoebus also believes that cooking is a journey of learning and creativity. As he often says:

Unlike a traditional restaurant, our food is prepared in advance because quality takes time. Inspired by the traditional Greek cookeries found across Greece.

Each service begins with a freshly prepared selection of dishes. Because we cook in limited batches using fresh ingredients, availability is limited. We believe it’s far better to sell out than to compromise on quality, keep food for the next day, or let good food go to waste.
